Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing) on the Rims

A Guided Nature Immersion at Zimmerman Park

Step away from the noise and into the calm of Zimmerman Park for a guided nature immersion rooted in Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese practice of "forest bathing."

Rather than a hike or a workout, Shinrin-Yoku is a slow, sensory-based way of being in nature — pausing to notice sound, light, texture, and breath — shown to ease stress, regulate the nervous system, and support a sense of calm and presence. This relaxed, therapeutic outdoor experience invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and reconnect with the natural world and with yourself. It's a welcoming group experience, open to all — no experience necessary, just come as you are and let the natural world do the rest.
