Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing) at Indian Cliffs in Billings, MT

A Guided Forest Bathing Experience at Indian Cliffs on the Billings Rims

Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world. Join us for a guided Shinrin-Yoku nature immersion on the Indian Cliffs trail system along the Rims in Billings, Montana.

Shinrin-Yoku, often called “forest bathing,” is a Japanese practice of mindfully taking in the atmosphere of nature. It isn’t a hike or a workout. It’s an unhurried walk where we leave the destination behind and use all of our senses: the scent of pine and sage, the texture of sandstone, the sound of wind moving across the cliffs, and the wide-open views of the Yellowstone Valley below.

Your guide will lead the group through a series of gentle invitations meant to quiet the mind, ease stress, and deepen your sense of connection with the land. Afterward, we’ll gather to share reflections. No experience is needed, and everyone is welcome.
